What does being a kingdom builder mean?
Definition for kingdom says: a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen.
the spiritual reign or authority of God.
We sing songs of worship to our KING JESUS and to the Lord of our life.
Why?
Because we are part of the Kingdom of God, and we all have a place in it.
In scripture it talks about the Kingdom of God, The Kingdom of Heaven.
It says: This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Mathew 24:14
And
Soon afterwards, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him,
Luke 8:1
When Jesus walked the earth, he was showing us how to be a kingdom builder. He was teaching us the Gospel that needs to be taught all over the world.
The Definition for builder is a person or thing that creates or develops a particular thing.
Now we look at the common definition and we see that as the body of Christ we are the one that creates and develops the Kingdom of God on EARTH because that is where we inhabit.
In the bible it says:
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10
We must spend time with God at his feet at the throne of God in intimacy to truly know his heart in order to build his kingdom on earth JUST LIKE IT IS IN HEAVEN.
We must have communion with him and hear his voice to start building what he wants built not what we want.
We must start allowing the Holy Spirit to lead instead of our own desires and our own goals.
We must be willing to deviate from our business plan when God is asking something of us and our business.
Being a business owner, we are prime real estate for building the kingdom. We must allow God to use our business strategically to further the kingdom.
Paul said that: preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.
Acts 28:31
Are you allowing God to use your business unhindered? Are you willing to put it all on the line?
We see in the story of the young rich ruler that:
17 As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do so that I may inherit eternal life?” 18 But Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [a]was deeply dismayed by [b]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus responded again and *said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And they were even more astonished, and said to Him, “[c]Then who can be saved?” 27 Looking at them, Jesus *said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
Mark 10:17-27
The reason he was grieving was he wasn’t willing to give away his property.
In today’s age that would be a real estate developer or a property management company.
He was trusting in his business and not in God even though he did EVERYTHING right he still got it wrong.
It is easy in business to get into that same mentality. We are doing everything correct following the rules.
YET
When God asks something of you can’t seem to do it and in doing so you lose everything.
To be a kingdom builder we have to be bold and unafraid of the natural because we are building the supernatural on earth. We have to truly believe that no matter the circumstances or what it looks like in the natural that it will be OK.
We have to have faith that God is going to do what his word says.
It says that “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NKJV
As a kingdom builder who sits in intimacy with Jesus at his feet getting the revelation, he has for us to build his kingdom we must have confidence in the verse we just read.
That no matter what God is going to work together all things for good for those who love God and allow him to use your business.
I encourage you today to start being a kingdom builder!!
