God wants to bless you and your work
If you are struggling with life I encourage you to press into God today! To press into the spirit and the rest it offers believers. See we weren't made to struggle, and you find rest from your struggle when you start being obedient to God and what he is asking from us. Your days of struggle are replaced with joy, peace, love, patience, and the other fruits of the spirit. You find that doors open for you that you could never open. You will find yourself doing things on your own you could never have done. In Hebrews 6:10 it says: "For God is true, and will not put away from him the memory of your work and of your love for his name, in the help which you gave and still give to the saints." When you press into him and are obedient to him you find that Hebrews 6:10 manifesting in your life as the fruit of your love and obedience to him! I am currently experiencing that manifestation in my own life and it BLOWS
my mind of the blessings he pours out on those who show love to him by listening and doing. As a parent, it pleases me when my children listen to me and I love to bless them, spoil them! How much more does our heavenly father bless our good works towards him! In Deut 28:1-10 it says ““And if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD
your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the LORD
your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD
your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The LORD
will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The LORD
will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the LORD
your God is giving you. The LORD
will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you if you keep the commandments of the LORD
your God and walk in his ways.”
That set of scripture still holds today all you have to do is OBEY
him, now I know it is easier said than done. Putting yourself aside daily and being sensitive to others' needs is a GREAT
starting point. Reading, praying, and meditating on his word and having a heart of thanksgiving is a recipe for success. When you truly love someone you take the time to get to know them, what they like and what they don't like. You make it a point to spend time with them and make yourself available to them. You find that you want to please them in your actions, and that is all God wants from us. By doing so we find ourselves wanting to be obedient and that is the key to the kingdom. Where we abide in him instead of being on the sidelines of the kingdom. To walk in the authority we have as a believer and as the church. To know that everything is under our authority, sickness, finances, our business or job, our relationships. As we come into that authority we look to the Holy Spirit to lead us and provide the wisdom needed to handle EVERY
single thing we encounter and make it subject to God and his plan for us! Press into God and what he is asking of you, I will promise you won’t regret it.
This morning while spending time with the Lord the Holy Spirit whispered the word COURAGE to me. That is what has been missing the last few days in my walk.
