God has need of your business it’s that simple!
The question is as a Christian business owner are you going to allow him to use it for his glory?
We find the passage of Mark 11:2-6
“and said to them, “As soon as you enter the village ahead, you will find a donkey’s colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it to me. And if anyone asks, ‘Why are you taking it?’ tell them, ‘The master needs it and will send it back to you soon.’
Mark 11:2-3 TPT
“So they went and found the colt outside in the street, tied to a gate. When they started to untie it, some people standing there said to them, “Why are you untying that colt?” They answered just as Jesus had told them: “The master needs it, and he will send it back to you soon.” So the bystanders let them go.”
Mark 11:4-6 TPT
In this text we can clearly see Jesus giving instructions to his disciples about what he needs them to do.
We can see that gave a location, said what action he wanted them to take and even what was to be said when someone questioned them.
We must get to a place in our business that we follow where he tells us to be and what we are to do and when we get questioned, he will give us the words to say.
We can see the same thing with the story of Ananias when he was used by God in Paul’s conversion.
He gave him a location, he told him what he was to do and what he was to say.
Both examples are people that were doing their business when Jesus gave them instructions that didn’t make any sense to them.
Ananias even questioned because he was concerned for his safety due to a Saul’s reputation.
He was worried that he was being sent into harm’s way because he didn’t see the outcome ahead of the time.
God see’s the end from the beginning and vice versa.
When I woke up this morning the song, I was singing was Shout to Lord it’s a favorite of mine that I loved hearing my mom sing in church next to me.
I then immediately was reminded of the verse in Ephesians that says:
“Children, do what your parents tell you. This is only right. “Honor your father and mother” is the first commandment that has a promise attached to it, namely, “so you will live well and have a long life.”
Ephesians 6:1-3 MSG
What the Holy Spirit was speaking to me was that this verse also applies to us and our heavenly father. That if we obey what he asks of us that this plays out in our adult life “so you will live well and have a long life.”
That when we spend time with him, we will learn his ways and he will instruct us on what he needs us to do for his kingdom.
Remember we are the “body of Christ” which means we all have a KEY ROLL in what needs to be done.
That is where your business comes in to be a triage unit on the front lines of the revival to not only encounter those that are lost but to also fund the END TIME HARVEST.
To be kingdom builders and this verse comes to mind:
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10 KJV
As a business owner we need to be more focused on his kingdom not our own.
His will not our own and by doing so everything else will be given to us.
We must be focused on getting a return on souls in our business even if it doesn’t make sense to us at the time like with Ananias.
Because he obeyed what God was asking of him, he was the vessel used in Saul’s conversion and look at the impact the one man had on the church even today.
We must be willing to put it all on the line even in our business for Jesus’s Kingdom to be built on Earth as it is on heaven.
If we, do it the way he is asking then we will experience heaven on earth and we won’t have to wait till we move into eternity to have the intimacy and walk with God that he desires with us.
God has need of you and your business and I encourage you today to allow God to use them both.
