We have to start to defend the beliefs we have that align with God’s word.

We don't have a race problem in the country, we have a spiritual problem. We have people who are demoralized that can't see right from wrong who are spewing hate and division. Then we have others who are hurting and have isolated themselves because of the hate and division. We have another group who are asleep at the wheel. They have the answer but are sleeping.
The bible says in Jude chapter 1 (TPT) that we need to vigorously defend and contend for the beliefs that we cherish. For God through the apostles has once for all entrusted these truths to his holy believers.
As I read that the Holy Spirit spoke to me that we in America have stopped doing this as a corporate body of Christ. That we no longer contend and defend the gospel as we should.
I think part of the reason is we don't want to offend people. When you read the gospels Jesus offended A LOT of groups because of what he was teaching.
We have to stop worrying about what others think and only worry about what God thinks. The one we should be concerned with offending is God or grieving the Holy Spirit.
To walk in truth and love is what we need to be doing as believers. Not religion, or browbeating people's wrongs.
Being consistent in our walk always showing love, patience, peace is how we will affect the world around us.
By being successful in our marriage, relationships, our businesses, and most importantly our walk with God. People are watching you as a believer rather than whether you want to admit it or not.
If our lives look just like theirs what is the appeal to serving God?
The closer I have found myself walking with God the more people are drawn to me. They ask for my card, for me to pray for them ECT.
Why? Cause they see the light I have in me and on me. They can see the anointing overflowing from me.
I had a client the other day ask me how I got to this point and the answer is simple. Intimacy with God, praying in the spirit, singing in the spirit, and then being obedient to what God is asking from me.
Always putting my God 1st in all I do has changed my life drastically for the better. So I don't write this to boast in my own works but to boast of what God can do in us and through us.
We have to start contending for the Gospel again in our homes, schools, businesses, courts, and our government. We have to start to defend the beliefs we have that align with God's word.
